The Frontier Historical Society and Museum has archives which include, but are not limited to, the items listed below. You may call and make an appointment to visit the archives to do research on your own (a donation is appreciated) or we can research for you. We charge $15.00 per hour for research services. You may telephone us at (970) 945-4448, write to us at Frontier Historical Society, 1001 Colorado Avenue, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, 81601 or e-mail your request to history@rof.net. Correspondence by e-mail is preferred. Xerox copies are .25 cents per page. Colorado residents add 3% sales tax.

Our library contains books on local history, biographies, railroads, mining, geology and Colorado history, including:
"Progressive Men of Western Colorado,"
"History of Colorado: Volumes 1-4,"
"Colorado and It’s People: Volumes 1-4,"
as well as most books written on "Doc" Holliday.
